Three ways we build with you.

Whether you need iOS, Android, or both — each project is scoped to your target audience and built to feel native on every device.

— TYPE A

Business Apps

Booking, ordering, member portals, internal tools. Built for the small businesses, coaches, and SaaS founders who need a real native app, not a glorified web view.

  • Auth, profiles, push notifications
  • Supabase or Firebase backend
  • Stripe / RevenueCat payments
  • App Store + Play Store submission
Starting at $3,000
— TYPE B

2D Games

Casual, idle, and arcade games. Real shipping experience — Galactic Empire Idle is on Google Play. The same engine, monetization, and store know-how powers your title.

  • Idle / casual / arcade mechanics
  • IAP, ads, subscriptions wired in
  • Save state, progression, prestige
  • Soft-launch to global rollout
Starting at $3,000
— TYPE C

Maintenance

The thing most agencies skip. Apps need ongoing love — OS updates, bug fixes, app store compliance, and small feature work. A monthly plan keeps you covered.

  • Ongoing bug fixes + updates
  • Store compliance + resubmissions
  • Small feature additions
  • Priority response on issues
From $300/mo
// 02 · Process

From idea to App Store in four phases.

No drawn-out discovery. No surprise invoices. A 30-minute scoping call, a fixed quote, and a build plan you can read in five minutes.

01

Scope

30-minute call. We walk through screens, features, integrations, and timeline. You leave with a fixed-price proposal — usually within 24 hours.

02

Build

Production code shipped to test builds you can install on your phone in days, not months. Weekly progress updates so you always know where things stand.

03

Ship

Two revision rounds included. App Store + Google Play submission, screenshots, and store listings handled. You sign off — we hit publish.

04

Maintain

Live apps need updates. Optional monthly retainer covers OS upgrades, fixes, store compliance, and small feature work as you grow.

// 03 · Selected Work

Real apps in real stores.

A studio you'd hire to ship your app should have shipped one of their own. Galactic Empire Idle is live on Google Play — and the launchpad's only getting busier.

// 04 · The Studio

A studio of one. By design.

Matt Sperry, founder of Galactic Devs
Operator ● Online

Hi, I'm Matt — and I'm the entire engineering team.

Most agencies will introduce you to a salesperson who hands you off to a project manager who relays your feedback to a junior developer. By the time anything reaches the engineer who'll actually build your app, three people have charged hours and your idea has been telephone-gamed into something else.

At Galactic Devs, you talk to me. I scope the project, I write the code, I ship it to the stores, and I'm the one fixing the bug at 11pm on a Tuesday. One person, end-to-end. Lower overhead, faster turnaround, higher signal — and a lot less bureaucracy between you and a working app.

I'm a real shipper. Galactic Empire Idle, my own idle game, is live on Google Play. I've been through the App Store rejection emails, the certificate renewals, and the 2am submission queues. That's experience your project gets day one.

Solo Studio Speed

No project managers, no handoffs, no telephone game. One developer who owns the entire stack means decisions happen in minutes, not meetings.

/ 02

Your Platform, Your Call

iOS, Android, or both — you pick what makes sense for your audience. No upsells, no "phase two" bait-and-switch. Scope matches your market.

/ 03

Fixed Pricing

You get a number, not an hourly rate. Two revision rounds included. Anything beyond scope is quoted in writing — no surprise invoices.

/ 04

Real App-Store Experience

I've shipped my own app. I know the rejection reasons, the review queue, the metadata gotchas. You get a partner who's done it — not a freelancer guessing.

// 05 · Schedule

Talk for 30 minutes. Free.

Not sure if your idea is a fit? Book a no-pressure scoping call over Google Meet. By the end of it, you'll know exactly what your app would cost and how long it would take.

Option A · Live Call

Book a 30-min scoping call

Pick a time that works for you. You'll get a Google Meet link plus a quick prep questionnaire so we hit the ground running. No sales pitch — just a real conversation about what you want to build.

  • 30 minutes, Google Meet
  • Calendar invite + prep doc auto-sent
  • Walk away with a price ballpark
  • No commitment, no pitch deck
Option B · Async

Skip the call. Just send the quote.

Already know roughly what you want? Walk through the scoping tool yourself. It takes about 8 minutes and gives me everything I need to send a written quote within one business day.

  • Self-serve, ~8 minutes
  • Covers screens, features, timeline
  • Written quote within 24 hours
  • Use as-is or hop on a call after
// 06 · FAQ

Things people ask before booking.

How much does an app actually cost? +
Apps and games typically run $3,000–$20,000, fixed price. The exact number depends on screen count, features, integrations, and whether you need a custom backend. The 30-minute scoping call gives you a real number — not a "starts at" tease.
How long until my app is in the App Store? +
Most apps ship in 4–8 weeks from kickoff, including app store review. Simpler apps land closer to 4–5 weeks; complex builds with custom backends or unique gameplay lean toward 8+. You'll get a written timeline in the quote — and I hit it.
Do I get iOS, Android, or both? +
Your call. We scope the project to your target audience. If your customers are mostly on iPhone, we build for iOS. If you need both platforms, the quote reflects that. No hidden upsells — the price you see covers what we agree on.
Who owns the code when we're done? +
You do. Source code, app store listings, designs, accounts — all yours. Full handoff to a private GitHub repo on your account. If you want to take it elsewhere later, nothing stops you.
What if I don't have a designer? +
Most clients don't, and that's fine. Galactic Devs handles the visual design as part of the build — clean, on-brand, native-looking UI based on your inputs. If you have a designer or existing brand, we work with what you give us.
What's NOT included? +
Each proposal spells out exactly what's in scope and what's out. Common things we keep out by default: ongoing marketing/ASO, custom illustration/animation work beyond UI, third-party API costs (Stripe fees, OpenAI usage, etc.), and Apple/Google developer account fees. Anything beyond the agreed scope is a written change request — no surprise invoices.

Have an idea? Let's scope it.

Eight minutes through the scoping tool, or thirty minutes on a call. Either way, you'll know what your app costs by the end of the day.
